Axe Age - all of prehistory, up to 570 H.C. The last thousand years of it is what we call the First Era. Following the cycle, a Leveller (Bungie spells it that way, Will!) who was a previous hero returned as Dark should have killed a young Hero and then died himself, but we don't know anything for sure. Ends in battle between Tireces and the Leveller.
Age of Reason - 570 H.C. to 430 A.E. The Second Era. The newly born Hero Tireces (who according to cycle should be the last hero reborn) defeats a newly born Leveller and ushers in an age of light, then disappears.
Wind Age - 431 to 1430 A.E. The Third Era. Tireces returns as the Leveller Moagim and defeats the newly-born Great Hero (unnamed, who according to cycle should be the last Leveller reborn), but then dies himself. A thousand years of dark ensue. The age ends when Connacht defeats Moagim Reborn.
Wolf Age (Age of Light) - 1431 to 2430. The Fourth Era. Connacht (who according to cycle should be the previous hero reborn) defeats Moagim Reborn and ushers in a thousand years of light, then disappears. The age ends when Connacht returns as Balor - of whom records are kept at least back till 2130 - and razes Muirthemne. He SHOULD have killed Alric then and ushered in a thousand years of dark before dying himself, but he didn't.
New Age (Sword Age) - 2431 and on. Connacht returns as Balor and razes Muirthemne. The Light holds on for fifty years before the Great Hero Alric finally shows up, and the comet and Tharsis are late too. Breaking the cycle pattern, Alric defeats Balor and lives at least another sixty years, building the Light forces, then defeats Soulblighter. However, the Undead and the Myrkridia are now prevalent, so it may not stay a Light Age for long. And Alric can't live forever... or can he?
