The only ranks specifically mentions by any primary myth documents are Leuitenant (Damas) and Captain (Warrior Captains, The Captain of the Archers). The highest ranking officers seem to usually be sorcerers, or at least people of some magical prowness.

From what I've seen, the Legion seems to be organized much like the army of Ceasar in his Gaelic wars. If I were you I'd just use this format.
