Put simply, here's how it works:
Axe Age ~
Prehistory. No known Great Heroes or Levelers. Well done for spelling Leveler correctly, Forrest could learn from you :)
The Age of Reason ~ Light
The first recorded Great Hero, Tireces, begins this new age by defeating the first recorded Leveler (name unknown).
The Wind Age ~ Dark
The rise of the Leveler, Moagim, begins this new age. He is killed however (though not by a Great Hero), but manages to secure the reign of the dark for the next thousand years.
The Age of Light (Wolf Age) ~ Light
The Great Hero Connacht appeared, heralding the begining of this age (which was later named after him). He defeats the new Leveler, known only as Moagim reborn.
Strangely, Balor has appeared before the end of this age, and is amassing forces in the east.
The New Age (Sword Age) ~ Should be Dark
This age begins with Balor moving his forces westward in an invasion of the lands of Myth.
Whatever happened to Balor, the Dark should have reigned for a thousand years, until 3431 A.E. (which should have been the next light age). However, in 2481, Balor's head is thrown into the Great Devoid and Alric is hailed as the Great Hero, despite the fact that the Dark should still be ruling.
