I should amend this a bit. There *are* known characters from that time frame who might have worked closely with Connacht--Myrdred and the Head-if-he's-not-Segoth (remember, Alric had access to some info about Balor fighting the Head hundreds of years before TFL), among others--but I think the comic writer was leaving open whether they actually did, or whether Connacht had other advisors and lieutenants as yet unknown.
