as someone noted, you can make undead without the dream of unlife. what i think the dream of unlife is is that it can recall the actual spirit of the deceased and put it back in their body (or perhaps another body...?). what effect it then has is unknown, such as the body being like a thrall's, and continuing to decompose, or does the body return to a form/semblance of life as well?

the spider blood (the flying projectile) is contained in the spider collection and is black, and the projectile leaves a stain like fetch lightning and dwarven grenades, only 1 pixel big. :)
