: I'm not sure what could convince ya.
But how is Tharsis the center of the world then? There is as much evidence for the flat world theory as against it. Perhaps the myth world works like the ancient system of heavenly spheres with everything orbiting around it? Perhaps winter is controlled by Wyrd or some other god? After all the gods of the myth world are more like the active gods of the ancients than the passive god of today.
