You can think of it (at least I did) as the name of whatever bre'Unor happens to be head honcho at the time. Maybe Gor-Ash is revered almost God-like among his followers, so, for example, after you kill him in Raiders of the Ermine, some other giant and skilled bre'Unor comes with the mask and the black kilt and says "I didn't really die, hahaha" giving him the illusion of immortality. Gor-Ash may have been a great leader from hundreds of years ago, the source of his power long forgotten, but whoever steps in to fill his place at his death is unquestioned, because who would dare to question Gor-Ash?
