No, by the-world-as-we-know it I mean the known map, also which the Mythlanders believe to be the extent of the "real" world. (That part is from GURPS). Plot it out on a grid like I did when trying to find the 49 Dreams, and you see Tharsis is directly in the center (or at least, within the central grid on a 7x7 square mesh over the map).
