: Well, storywise...the Myrkridia aren't blindly loyal like
: the undead; their loyalty is freely given and freely
: retracted. Knowing that Shiver's destruction is
: assured, and probably Soulblighter's as well, these
: Myrk Giants may have opted to try to finish off both
: sides and become independent leaders of their race, no longer serving a Dark lord.
Good point, especially when one considers that Myrkridian Giants are much more intelligent and less feral than their smaller brethren.
Which raises another point... Is a myrkridia born a giant... is it a seperate race of Mykridia? Or do all Myrkridia become giants if they survive enough?
: It's apparently the head of a Warlock's staff;
: Seanchaidh just took off his staff head and bolted it
: on. Dunno why it's there, but it seems as if some
: earlier Warlock left it there, protected by that :magically-powered land bridge.
yea and it would make sense that the Deciever, an ancient ally of the Warlocks, would remember where it is where as it's location might have been forgotton after several generations of warlock had past... or do Warlocks have extrodinarily long lifespans as well? Or is it like in the Black Company where your lifespan is proportional your magical ability?
