I think it's canon enough, moreso than Chimera. It uses a basic plot that Bungie themselves wrote as the backstory for Myth, so it can't be that bad. The delivery and details could suck, though. I will include its info in this site whether it sucks or not, and if things contradict (as some of Bungie's own texts have), people can make up their own minds.
