In Response To: Re: New Myth 3 info... (Sciron)

: The Wolf Age? Doesn't Myth always refers to Connacht as
: "The great hero of the Wind Age"? Of course,
: he did lived partially during the Wolf Age, but most
: of announced things occured during the Wind Age. There
: is a bunch of events that would be very nice to see
: included in the game, and I don't think there could be
: better period to put Myth 3 in.

Depends on precisely how they define the Ages. Generally--GURPS and game texts seem to agree on this--Ages begin with the ascendance of a Hero to lead his people. So Connacht was born in the Wind Age, and started his war then--but as soon as he became leader of the Light, it switched to the Wolf Age. So most of his greatest achievements were in the Wolf Age, although he was also the greatest (and the only successful) hero of the Wind Age.

: Of course, putting
: dwarves using the same weapon 1060 years ago would be
: silly, but some similar unit could easily replace them
: (and with Fear and Loathing that any sane software
: company should include with Myth 3, you can easily get
: your cocktail-throwing dwarves back).

Remember that the Dwarven Ghosts in the catacombs of Muirthemne, who may have lived back in the Age of Reason, also used cocktails. That technology's apparently pretty old. Wolf Age cocktails might be less advanced, though; think TFL dwarves squared. That'd please a lot of players...
