Can you blame them though? Try to imagine Myth without Soulless. It sucks. I bet dwarves didn't have as great an understanding of explosives back then but if they take away my molotov cocktail I'll scream.
Story is all well and good but I'm not going to worry too much as long as they include editors as or more powerful than Fear and Loathing. If the worst happens we can redo it properly ;)
