Hmmm, ripping your own face off before the invention of anasthetic could be quite traumatic. Still, they could just sat that Damas/Soulblighter was always a bit unhinged. Have you ever thought it strange why Connacht sent him to find artifacts that "call to the wicked and discontented throughout the land"? Even so, the idea of Connacht fielding undead sounds a little far fetched.
I wonder if we'll get to use that sword that calls down huge bolts of green lightning.
