: Then "Trabist's Mirror" must have been valid.
: In other words, I have a feeling Bungie didn't take
: *too* close a look at GURPS before it went on sale.
: This means that they may have missed the whole
: Deceiver thing and a lot of the other mistakes.
A spelling mistake is on a different order of magnitude from a mistake concerning the fate of one of the game's main characters. Even the game's own developers could have forgotten that "Tramist's Mirror," a minor item mentioned once and never seen in-game, is spelled with an "m" rather than a "b" when playing through--especially when they soound almost identical. That's a far cry from "overlooking" Myrdred's death.
When
: did Bungie sell Myth's rights anyways because that may
: be the reason why they didn't take much time to look
: it over.
The Take Two deal was considerably after GURPS Myth, but somewhat before the release of the errata list. Which is another reason why I think the corrections had little to do with Bungie.
