Where to people get this idea? Tramists's Mirror "makes souls corporeal". That is, what we see of Shiver in Myth II is what her ACTUAL SOUL looks like. It's not a body with her soul stuck in it; it IS her soul, given physical form.
Also, some of the other Fallen have returned from the dead. We know Myrdred has at least once. They can find "extra life" abilities - loopholes in reality that let them say "Oh hey, wait, that was wrong, I shouldn't really be dead" and then they're not.
