I think this is an excitingly rare case of Journeyman Hyperbole™. "You didn't see the rock you just blasted? What, was it small enough for a Dwarf to step on?" Or he may be talking about the sacrificed deer. That's what the script actually tests for--whether the deer's body is blown up or not. Maybe b'Y'laggo is pissed that it lost its snack.
