: My friend I don't think that Soulblighter would made the
: same "mistake" Balor did. When I refer the
: word mistake I mean that Alric had also great luck on
: his side when he
: decided to do that.He knew that Balor's fortress was
: almost impossible to conquered, but he hadn't any other
: choices. He made his move and won.I'm telling you that
: if Soulblighter had a fort it wasn't necessary to have
: a world knot.So that made Alric confront him with a
: big dissadvatage as he would have attacked him with no
: cover.
Both Alric and Myrdred have demonstrated teleportation without Knots, though. And even if Alric didn't attack *exactly* the way he attacked Balor, he'd still proved that he was good at taking on stationary enemies.
Remember that, unlike Balor, Soulblighter didn't have an inexhaustible army that just poured slowly over the land. His army was small enough and weak enough that the Light could take it out in direct combat. If Soulblighter had established a stationary fortress, the Light could have just pressed straight toward it, killed anything in their way and eventually destroyed it.
: As for Myrkridia & Ghols,we saw them stayed on
: camps(Ghols on Soulblighter's camp and Myrkridia on
: Shiver's camp)So Soulblighter COULD have a fortress.
: From the other hand his opponent-King Alric-chose wiselly
: and stayed on forts or places with great defensive
: strenght like Madrigal or Muirthemne(after the siege)
: and Tandem.
Again, in Myth 2 Alric's army had less mobility but greater overall strength (it seems) than Soulblighter's. So it made sense for Alric not even to *try* to outmaneuver Soulblighter; instead he moved slowly and carefully and chose positions of strength to anchor from. Meanwhile, Soulblighter ran around and tried to attack quickly and unexpectedly. The "camps" we saw in "Murder of Crows" and "Shiver" were obviously small and temporary things, intended for use over a few days or weeks. A real fortress couldn't have been used that way--you can't exactly carry those things around. :-)
This is basically the reverse of TFL: There it made sense for Alric not to have a fortress, because his army was faster but weaker than Balor's. Every Light city or fortress was just crushed by the Dark when they got there, but Alric survived by *not* basing himself in any of them. Instead, he kept on the move and ahead of the Dark forces until he turned up at Balor's doorstep.
: As for the 2 unknown Fallen Lords(Lurker&Faceless man)I
: think that is a BIGGGGGG Mystery!!Do not believe that
: they are absolute dead.I'm going to agree with the
: opinions of some of the members of MYTH COMMUNITY that
: they might be hidding!
Well, okay. I'd imagine that if people saw them hunted down and killed, they probably were. But you can think they're in hiding if you want. :-)
