: If Soulblighter could raised from the grave Shiver, why he
: didn't use that special ability and for the others
: Fallen Lords?(at least for the Watcher who was among
: the strongest and powerfull)
Do you think the Watcher, the '' second or third most powerful sorcerer in living memory '' would side with a Lord who he would consider to be vastly inferior? Sure, the Watcher might feel indebted to Soulblighter for resurrecting him, but would probably automatically assume that HE should be supreme commander, something which Soulblighter, being the egotistical maniac he is, wouldn't want.
: And finally where was Soulblighter's fort?
: In the great war Baror had "THE FORT" and I
: mean that.It was in the land of Trow and none would
: dare to attack him in his fort(exept Alric who
: secretally sneak throught the knot, but sacrifaced
: almost all the legion)
: We had a great F.Lord with a great fort.
: On MYTH 2 we never saw or hear anything about
: Soulblighter's fort.I find it big mistake not having
: at least a decent fort where he can rest,he can
: fight,he can put his prisonners,he can execute them or
: he can escape from a secret passage, insteed of lossing
: important prisonners(see Deceiver)and run like chicken
: after his fight with the Deceiver.Furthermore hiding
: inside Tharsis which finally was the end for him.(And
: do not think that he was not afraid.Deep inside him,he
: knew that things had change and the war was lost.)
: Even Baron Kilder had at least a keep and he tried when
: things went wrong to escape(but Cruniac was there!!!)
: So having a fort with the aid of Myrkridia like
: infantry,Soulless on the walls to prevent the legion
: to be close and Fetches give orders on Thralls,he was
: too strong to be beaten.
: He wasen't in the siege of Muirthmne from the legion. (he
: had just left the Sade Herod)More he even wasen't when
: they tried to take it back!!!
: What was the strategic attacks or defend that
: Soulblighter made?
Balor's fortress fell because he was so confident of victory that his forces, outnumbering the Legion more than 200 to 1, sallied forth to crush them. They would have suceeded were it not for the Eblis stone and the Myrkrydian standard. Soulblighter was fighting the Legion mostly on even terms, and if he had one place that the Legion could be sure of finding him, it would give them just one target against which to unite their troops, and personal harm was something that Soulblighter couldn't risk.
One possible ''fortess'' that Soulblighter might have used could have been the Tain. By taking several shards of the Tain with him, and then transporting himself into one mini-dimension of the Tain, it would have been possible for him to build a fortress in the first mini-dimension, and, were this to fall, he could easily transport himself to a different mini-dimension. Although this would have been putting all his eggs in one basket, as it were, it would have allowed him to escape easily, as well as keeping the Summoner, his greatest asset, safe. Of course, whether thi9s would actually work in practice would be another story entirely, and, as has already been said, Soulblighter wasn't all that bright.
