: Well, I don't know about animated cartoons, but real
: actors, like in Bravheart, would be pretty damn sweet.
: I've heard talk of a Black Company movie, which might be
: almost as good.

I've always dreamed what the BC series might be like if made into a film, but in my heart-of-hearts, I'd rather not see one.
Why, you ask? Because, as Thoth alluded to, Hollywood would screw it up beyond recognition and it would take awau from all of my fond memories.
Now, it could be done right (all the elements are there: bunch of guys, wizardy, graphic violence, hot chicks, epic battles) but my pessimism shield prevents me from becomeing too excited. Hell, have you seen the trailer for the Dungeons & Drangons movie? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!??! The D&D cartoon from the early 80s looked more interesting (which btw, is on the Cartonn Channel from time to time).
I AM looking forward to the LOTR film. Now THAT trailer looks neat & true (so far).
Faithfully,
