First things first: I'm the only duck here, and there's no room for two ducks in one asylum. :P
Second, single-player sceanarios that "continue Bungie's storyline" are not officially continuing the story. We are basically making theories of what could happen in the future, past, or present. If bungie comes out with extra stuff for the myth storyline, *cough*chimera*cough*, then that's fine. Since bungie won't continue making their story expansions for myth forever, somebody has to continue where they left off and make some stuff!
The story of each individual solo-campaign does not have to be accepted as the true history of the Myth World. I, for one, certainly can't see the Broken Cycle, or Myth 2 solo campaign (the first one, I think) as things that would have actually happened in the myth storyline. The Coming of Darkness, however, will always in my eyes be a true part of the myth storyline.
You, on the other hand, and anybody who shares the opinion that you made public with that nasty post of yours, can choose for yourself to not believe any of that. Your decision, not ours. Likewise, it is our decision to believe what happens in a scenario is true or not. It is most definitely not your decision. DO NOT TRY TO MAKE OUR MINDS FOR US!!!
Now, if you've lost yourself in my mindless rant, what I'm basically trying to say is that:
a) The third-party single-player campaigns are made for fun and speculation on the future storyline. It's kinda like how some people see the Star Wars movies as the only star wars truth, and the novels (which can be damned great) as just people trying to wrongfully continue the storyline into the future. Some of the campaigns can be good extensions to the myth storyline.
b) Your opinion is yours, our opinions are ours. If you don't like the fact that people are making single-player scenarios for myth II, don't get them. It's that simple. If you can't accept the fact that people will not listen to you and stop making plugins, read further on...
c) Don't make disrespectful posts on the Asylum. We may all be nuts here, but we can sort out our own problems. The story may be getting more confusing, but it's only as confusing as we want it to be. It's not confusing to me because I've chosen to disregard quite a few plugs as not being part of the true myth storyline.
Now, as is said in "b)" if you can't handle these facts, here are 5 easy instructions for you to follow:
1. Go away.
2. Delete all of your single-player plugings for myth II.
3. Never download single-player campaigns again.
4. Get the Total Codex, and hope Chimera is a good extension to the storyline.
5. Play nothing but multi-player games and single-player maps made by Bungie from now until the day you die.
Well, that wasn't so hard, now was it?
