: Or the comet is just a freak coincidence and mass
: histeria causes certain individuals (Balor) to give in
: to the popular "mob mentality" that the
: comet brings doom. In other words, don't blame Balor
: because the comet MADE him do it... at least in HIS
: mind it did. He hade no choice: Through a mix of peer
: presure and popular belief, he HAD to raise the dead
: and bring a form of destruction the world has never
: seen because everyone was expecting it. HE is the
: victim here. After all HE was the one that got his
: head loped off and to add salt to an open wound, they
: heaved his head into a bottomless pit. Thats just
: playing dirty.
In a world where the gods' mark is clearly on the world, magic abounds and creatures of myth walk the earth I don't think that it's a random occurance. It's happened before and myth history seems pretty well documented. Also remember that Balor didn't get "caught up" in the mob mentality. He dissapeared, then as Connacht, back about 900 years ago and hadn't been seen 'till he arrived in front of muirthenme with the sun behind his back and the city in flames. I hardy call that peer pressure.
Also there was good reason to destroy his head in such a gruesome way. They're trying to prevent his return ater all. He didn't exactly show much mercy and "play fair" either too...
: I hope this clears up any confusion as
: to the true nature of the comet.
Sorry, but that's a stupid statement. What you written above was pure conjecture. While I don't claim to holdthe true theories either. You're interpritation is not nescessarily the Tru7h....
