Or the comet is just a freak coincidence and mass histeria causes certain individuals (Balor) to give in to the popular "mob mentality" that the comet brings doom. In other words, don't blame Balor because the comet MADE him do it... at least in HIS mind it did. He hade no choice: Through a mix of peer presure and popular belief, he HAD to raise the dead and bring a form of destruction the world has never seen because everyone was expecting it. HE is the victim here. After all HE was the one that got his head loped off and to add salt to an open wound, they heaved his head into a bottomless pit. Thats just playing dirty. I hope this clears up any confusion as to the true nature of the comet.
