Well it might be argued that since there is no visible World Knot teleporting effect they didn't come through it. But how else do you explain the sudden arrival of a group of Wights in the middle of the Knot? While you can't see them you know they are Wights by the sound. The destruction of the Knot which in effect forces you to flee Covenant on foot (hence Flight from Covenant) is never really explained. We are forced to follow the J-man away from the Knot but not told why. Missing the explosion just adds to tbe confusion. The use of the Knot by the Dark in Covenant also reinforces what we latter learn on Force Ten... two days later.
