It's like fuzzy logic. It's math that's been sitting in the back of the fridge too long, and has started to grow this disgusting greenish-blue mold fuzz all over it. It's best handled with a long pair of nonconductive, acid-resistant, lead-coated tongs, akin to those used for handling level-10 biohazardous materials or solid nuclear waste.
