perhaps this is meant to be a stuttered dark age, with various dark armies appearing and attempting to invade, only to be stopped in a thousand years when a new leveller draws out the dark resources too thin and the light can live reletively unmolested for a thousand years until the next leveller...

just a thought that occured to me in the early hours of the morning. :)

: Each Age of Light is meant to be a thousand years. Each
: Age of Dark is meant to be a thousand years. The Wolf
: Age, the Age of Light in which Connacht ruled, ended
: only 50 years before TFL, when Balor came and sacked
: Muirthemne. Thus, it should still be a Dark age. But
: after only 50 years of Dark, it turned to Light and
: stayed that way for 60 years, then briefly turned Dark
: again when Soulblighter returned, and is now Light
: again. So the cycle is fux0red, unless you consider
: that the secret of unlife is out now and there is a
: lot of Dark potential, even though Alric seems to be
: keeping the Dark at bay for now.

: Also, according to cycle, both Alric and Balor should
: have died fifty years before TFL. So, further fux0ring
: there.
