Ok, I really wanted to keep this secret, but its time
to let the truth be known...
the Bow of Furious Incandescence was captured by Fetch
in the battle for Balor's fortress. As they were feeling
the cold a bit, they decided to use it as kindling for
a fire ... and this resulted in the massive explosion that
killed everyone in the vicinity of the fortress.
There you go! Several enigmas explained at once!
