: But didn't Connacht just disapear during the Light Age?
: One of the journal entries said he disapeared and
: later returned as Balor.
Yes, but that was part of the standard cycle of 1000 years
dark then 1000 years light. Before Connacht, it was a dark
age. Connacht ushered in the period of light, and then
returned as Balor to start the next dark millenium.
Balor should have won, but Alric did, so light continued
and the cycle was broken.
: Lets say that SOulblighter
: didn't disrupt the cycle so The Light live happily
: ever after untill one day Alric disapears.
No he didn't disrupt it - he tried to restore it but failed.
: And why on earth would The
: Narrator think that Soulblighter would be a Fallen
: Lord in the next Millenium?
He thought he could have been the Leveller, not a Fallen
Lord, if he'd waited. The Journeyman in the prologue also
had no idea whether the cycle would return, but basically
said "wait and see". So SiliconDream is right - there's
lots of options & no-one knows what will happen, but don't
let that stop you speculating ;)
