Yes he did. We all clearly some him blown to bits. Every time I've tried to save him he simply turns around and still gets blown up.

No. Everyone knows that if you keep bringing back old characters things start to get boring. Besides, it sets the seen for Alric to be the most powerful dude around, which makes for a good start for Myth 3. That's if there is one. How long has it been? Three years?
