It's a dispersal dream. You have a thousand Myrmidons all converging on a single point, you cast a dispersal dream on that point, and you have a thousand little explosions rippling out through the Myrmidon horde. That makes a pretty big explosion. And Alric was right about to cast some magic spell right as The Last Battle ended, so...

It might have after The Last Battle, like when he head was chucked into the Devoid. GURPS tells us all of Rhi'anon was destroyed in a massive explosion shortly after Balor's death, so either Alric blew the place up with his dispersal of all those Myrmidons, or with some other spell, or Balor's body blew up.
