I'm pretty sure the head blew up of it's own accord. Soulblighter would have no reason to blow it up. In fact
he nearly got caught in the explosion himself.

I wasn't saying that they'd become peaceful, more that they didn't have a common cause anymore, so they broke up into bands and went around randomly slaughtering to try to alleivate their suffering.
