: I was just playing Chimera again and I thought to myself
: is this all set in the Untamed Lands? Quite a few
: places are named. I.e. Swans crossing and Brighton.
Along with Ruewood, Fosgarach and Cavanaugh. It's set in the Untamed Lands, cause it says so in the pregame narration for the first level. Obviously its off the edge of the Myth map, and it points out some interesting things.
Firstly, the untamed lands were involved in the war against Soulblighter, as its characters originate there, yet One Elk is a heron who fought at Muirthemne. Also, even though the light have won, Muirthemne is described as a camp of warriors, and the Heron Guard are "needed" there.
Secondly, there is apparently an eastern coastline to the myth continent, as shown on the Baron level.
Third, the untamed lands don't seem any more "untamed" than the west, and are dominated by light forces indistinguishable from their western counterparts.
Fourth, Fir'bolg live in Ruewood, as well as the Ermine, and there are dwarves in the east, too.
As this is all Bungie-sanctioned, isn't it interesting? I think so anyway :)
Cheers,

: What exactly was Kartuke trying to do, anyway? If he
: had taken out the main characters then what? Take on
: the West? I don't think so. One last question, where
: do Demon Lords come from? Oh, wait, one more, why are
: there people living in the Untamed Lands?
