Well, the journeymen can't be wiser because they're doing penace for their wrongs. Also all of the heron gueard you see in Myth II are former Journeymen. They couldn't just suddenly lose their wisdom. Also the Journeymen only have that lonewolf thing going because they prefer to wallow in thier misery than socialize. Also the heron don't "kick ass when needed" they kick ass when the epmporer commands that they kick ass. Personally I prefer the Heron to the Journeymen.
