: I just wondering if Dwarves had, exept sathel charges,
: anything else to fight against Ghol.I find it very
: hard to compete in a war only with this kind of
: weapon.
Well, GURPS says that their primary weapons are the bottles and sachel charges, but it also tells us that they once used the old plate armor and battle axe. They also produce a small number of fire arms.
If I had my guess (which of course I do) I would say that they had combined arms in their armies before the Great War, and then only after they were allied with the Provence did they stick exclucavely to the explosaves.
: On MYTH 2 we saw for the first time mortars Dwarves but
: it's almost the same with above.
: As we know Dwarves have big disadvantage in hand to hand
: combat. When the enemy could avoid the
: "bombard" then it was all over for Dwarves.
: So I think that they must have other units(that we didn't
: see) to support Balin and his men.
: Known as great mechanics and experts on explosions they
: should have war machines ready to fight.
Like I suggested above, they may have had and still might maintain a diversified army. It may be that the non-explosave units are held back in Myrgard. After all why send them out when the leagion will protect the morters and other types of sapers?
: I really want to know yous opinion.
Thats good to know;)
: OH!! And something else:How a Dwarf can turn to be a
: Pathfinder?
Extensive training. Pathfinders are an ultra secret brance of the dwarven millitary (although the journal writer in Myth 2 seemed to know about them) and are selected through a process that I have likened ot SEAL training in the U.S Navy.
: Pathfinders are unique units not visable(how can this
: take place?)
They may have a small amount of magical training. From what I can tell, invisabilaty spells are often fairly simple.
: On both series MYTH TFL&SOULBLIGHTER WE SAW ONLY 2
: PATHFINDERS one in each game and thats all.Are they so
: few?
Yes.
: my regards to all MYTH community.
My regards to you sir.
