in my opinion, forest giants are a lot like ents (the similar forest-dwelling giants in tolkien's "the lord of the rings").
in the lord of the rings, ents only attack if they are bothered, or if it is in their best interest. (of course, once they do attack, they kick ass.) i assume the same thing applies to the forest giants...once they are not needed anymore, they go back to minding their own business.

forest heart's a large forest smack-dab in the middle of the myth world. the myth 2 battle probably took place in another area of the forest.
