I'd always guessed that Gower was an area where the Muirthemnians originally migrated from. (I think the people of The Provence came from the ocean) And In my opinion Wyrd is not really a god but a powerfull sorcerer who has (Or his spirit has) controll over the general myth map and there are all sorts of other places. If the world was flat with an ege off all it would be really weird too... Oh well thats just my two Cents.
