: I'm just bringing up the story with our archers in the
: Great War (TFL).While Fir'Bolg were enemies with the
: humans, both of them they realised that only together
: they could do something, against the Fallen Lords.
: But now in MYTH2 they are gone.Does it make sense?
: This time Soulblighter went too far, even with his armies
: of the dark he took Tandem and reach the north
: borders. So as you see the threat was really too
: big.Where were the Fir' Bolg?I can't accept that
: because we have bowmen,Fir'Bolg wasen't needed.Besides
: they must be in danger also.
: King Alric knew that a regiment with bowmen &
: Fir'Bolg would be powerfull,but we never saw it.Why
: Fir'Bolg didn't take part in this war?
The threat wasn't nearly as big as Balor's, though. The war was a lot shorter, took place in a smaller region, and killed a lot fewer people. Remember, just because the fir'Bolg allied with humanity doesn't mean they started to *like* us. If they think we can handle the problem by ourselves, they're not going to step in--and after Alric's performance in TFL they're probably pretty impressed with the Province's combat ability.
And we *don't* need fir'Bolg when we have bowmen. The well-trained human archers are just as good, plus they have actual knives and fire arrows and things.
: Just remember that in Chimera they fight against the
: swarm.
But this seems to be purely defensive. Wherever Ruewood is, there are apparently fir' Bolg natives or colonists. And the swarm came to them, not the other way around.
