Actually they just killed the summoner. Myrkridia _are_ natural creatures and they can reproduce (I thinKk). Gurps seems to say that they are now in roving packs, terrorizing the countryside, but they haven't got the numbers to return to thier complete terror.

Maybe not, remember that Balor destroyed the old Bruig in a single day (BTW, I found some cool sounds about them in the sound list for the Crypt level).

I've always thought it would be a cool scenario if the dwarves, far more technologically advanced than the humans, decide to break their alliance with the old empire and subjugate humanity.
