Yes, the Great Heroes have their own minds, and are then possessed by the Leveler (one l, not two!).
Although you seem to stray a bit from what I was saying, are you saying that the A/B spirit theory refers to the spirit of the person before they are possessed by the Leveler (with one l, not two!)?
