: You may have originated it, and upon doing so it's chaos,

: means...

So if there's some monster that keeps knocking down buildings and turning cities into rubble, and sticks around to make sure anything else that gets built is subsequenly knocked into rubble, and generally maintaining a 100% Pure Rubble™ state, then that's orderly?

No. It's chaos. And when you really come down to it, the spectrum of chaos and order is circular; at one point you have a balance of chaos and order, and a quarter way around the circle in either direction are the most distinct states of order and chaos. But as you go further, orderly things become more simplified, there is less clutter and structure, and eventually, the most purely orderly state possible is a blank slate, empty space. Likewise, as you keep getting more and more chaotic, tearing down all structures and systems and leaving ever smaller, more constituent particles in their wake, you also wind up at the same extreme; a blank slate, empty space.

So pushed to its most extreme, is pinnacle, either chaos or order will eventually leave you with one thing: nothing. Which is why the forces of Dark, we concluded, were the forces of extremes, while the forces of Light strive to bring things into perfect balance between order and chaos. Nature has a tendancy to bring about a similar balance all by itself, until we humans come along and muck it up. But we'll eventually be forced into balance too, one way or another.
