If part of the personality of the guy the leaveler posseses still surrvives than Alric would still hate the un-dead right? Kind of like Balor and the Myrkridian standerd.

I like the idea of him being burryed at sea or something. Maybe he could come to the continent from another continent, having enslaved the surrvivers of his first conquest. He would probobly only use thrall and other un-dead troops as a last resort.
