The current rules that were distributed were generally quite simplistic. There were intended mainly for an eRPG where the rules don't tend to matter as much.
I have (sort of) begun to write up a much more detailed RPG. Improvements include a magic system (takes a lot of time), a more detailed combat system, lots more skillz, and generally revised and more detailed rules. This will take lots of time though, as I am starting college in about a week, and I also have lots of other commitments.
As for these rules, I think that would be a nice idea to get that MUD going. I was considering doing a real-time RPG using WebRPG Online, but this sounds good also.
