The guy on the far left in heavy armor is definitely Rabican. There are pictures of him elsewhere smiting Shiver with a massive Jet Flame from his sword. Given that the order of names in the Journal along with that is Rabican, Murgen, Maeldun, then we can assume it goes from left to right; Rabican is himself, Murgen is next to him, and Maeldun on the other side of Murgen. Murgen's resemblance to Alric is just coincidental, or perhaps that's common garb amongst Avatara. We know they're all required to be proficient with a sword, and all but Rabican and perhaps Cu Roi (who we've never seen) wear robes similar to that.
