Hey, we won't complain if you accept and build off the Creation stuff. It's just that, as an Asylumer, I'm obliged to point out when information isn't "real" Bungie Myth history but rather 3rd-party fill-in. But since your scenario isn't intended to be an officially-true successor to Myth, you can use as much 3rd-party stuff as you want.

Well, the term "pirate" has more to do with their behavior than their motivations. A pirate differs from an ordinary soldier in that a) he operates largely at his own discretion, rather than following specific orders; b) he "pays his own salary" through looting; and c) he attacks enemy civilians as or more readily than he attacks enemy soldiers. Whatever the agenda of the Leix forces, the looters of Tyr could still be genuine pirates.

And the Fallen Lords could be called an opposing army with a different agenda, too. :-)
