Actually, I was assuming DG was right. I'm getting lazy in my research these days. Since it's DG we're talking about, I guess I shouldn't be so sure.

Anyway, a rival human nation would make sense. They could have a better navy than the Province, but be small and not have a real army. This would allow Maeldun to kick ass once he got to the island.
