I dont know about its current situation but it used to be the island nation of Leix. In case you dont know the Pirates of Leix used to be the most feared in the world of Myth. Then they did something criminaly stupid, they attacked and burned hafe of the city of Tyr sometime before or during the Great War. I said stupid because one of the natives of Tyr just happend to be Maeldun one of the more powerfull archmages of the Wolf age. Maeldun destroyed the Pirates and their nation, and I think only birds and ruins inhabbit the island.. but thats up to conjecture.
On a side note, Leix was a pennal colony of Tyr before it won its independence after nearly three weeks of bloody riots.

I dont know what time frame you are looking at, but you may wish to Maelduns attack on Leix as a base for your map.
