: Sure, but that makes it a pretty weak point. Theres no
: concrete evidence about it. You could say that the
: Dwarves came from the Great Devoid and has exactley
: the same argument.
Except we know for a fact that the Dwarves *DIDN'T* come from the Devoid - they're a Younger Race
: True (and an excellent site it is), but somehow I don't
: see how you can say they look both like Cthulu and the
: fetch at the same time. As far as I recall the old
: ones don't look very much like lighting shootin'
: humanoids....
I didn't say they looked like Cthulu, I said they looked Lovecraftian. And huge, lanky, horned creatures look both Lovecraftian AND have some similarities to Fetch (being female and having horns, specifically). And I still don't get what that hooded face in the carving's crotch is.
: _If_ the fetch and spiders were from the same world this
: would be true, but your building on an unstable
: foundation.... Remember, Balor wasn't allied with the
: Smiths anyway, he tried to kill them (and we know that
: he remember's his past life's grudges, just look at
: the Myrkidia battle standard).
But he used their creation, the Tain, and it's implied that he tried to turn a blind eye to their atrocities for as long as he could. So accessing the Spider-world wouldn't be against his ethics.
