Actually, the Trow were the very first dominant species. The Callieach, along with the Oghres, were among the last of the Old Races to develop--thousands upon thousands of years after the Trow had already established their dominion over the Mythworld. The Calleiach might have been sovereigns of the area around the Great Devoid, but not for long.
