In Response To: Re: The Debate Over WW2 and Reg. Myth (Qui-Gon Gandalf ~TMBM~)

: 2. Too many good things have been overshadowed by WW2.
: For instance, Wild West was pretty much blown over
: because it was released at the same time as Titans.

}This is a shame, as I believe Wild West was a cool ass map that provided a good challenge, new units, scenery, etc. I have yet to beat this map (I sux I know) however I still enjoy trying too. WWII lost its "KOOL" factor about 30 seconds after I started playing it. What stategy is there behind ten guys throwing grenades, or running someone down with a tank, or being able to shoot an opponent clear across the screen??

: And on that note, I hate that a map
: released somewhere like The Mill with the letters WW2
: in front of it gets 100000 dls OVERNIGHT while others
: get 4...7..etc.

}Thanks for the insight. I have just renamed my map WWII The Journey Continues....
NOTT!!!!! This is a shame as well, as there are many a better map out there and people will look right past it because they see the WWII, do they even read what these maps are about before DL??

So to sum it all up: "OMG WW2 IZ
: GEI AN SUXORS!!OMG!! I TRO KIK WW2 N THE NUTZ!"
: ;)

}he he ;o) , My TroSpeak is getting better, I actually understand the above statement.

}Lastly, I would like to thank Qui-Gon for pretty much summarizing my own feelings (only he says it better) and to add that they should give these WWII players there own room so that those of us who would like to play "MYTH", can, without having to wade through rooms of nothing but reded out WWII games.

My Two Cents Worth (maybe a cent and a half)
