Well I'm not going to openly express my feelings towards WW2 because Forrest might not like it, so I'll give you my 'nicer' opinion.
In the beginning WW2 was very fun, well thought out, and well made. Now after a few games (mb..11?) I started saying, "Ok cool plug, show me some more Myth maps." Now it got bad there for a while, when seemingly ALL ranked games were WW2 (or the infamous BC/Raid). Now personally I believe that ranked players like WW2 so much because it requires the player to be 'skillful' with ONE unit, where as reg myth gives a lot more variety and more challenging tactics.
When Titans was released however, my feelins towards this plug went to the dark side. One of the most unbalanced units ever made was created, the tank a.k.a. 'OMG TANX'. Now the ranked players were challenged to learn a new unit, but after a while, they stopped getting tanks for the most part.
I also believe that the people with GODLIKE CONNECTIONS enjoy Titans because players on Commodore 64's get lagged to munky island, while getting blasted apart. Since I'm a mapmker, theres two more things that bother me about WW2.
1. All these stupid maps people keep releasing. They dont really seem to care about the map itself, just to get a map out there with WW2 on it.
2. Too many good things have been overshadowed by WW2. For instance, Wild West was pretty much blown over because it was released at the same time as Titans. Also with Bushido, people played it for maybe a week then went back to WW2, and Bushido took 20 times as much work. And on that note, I hate that a map released somewhere like The Mill with the letters WW2 in front of it gets 100000 dls OVERNIGHT while others get 4...7..etc. So to sum it all up:
"OMG WW2 IZ GEI AN SUXORS!!OMG!! I TRO KIK WW2 N THE NUTZ!"
