The fix would be the implementation of a simple idea.
1. Separate rooms for ww2, and regular myth
2. Separate rank structure for ww2, such as private to 5 star general, keep myth rank structure the same for regular myth.
3. two sets of celest, ww2, and myth. Two sets of personal stats, ww2 and myth. Add a button to check ww2 stats, just like the button for check ing order stats.
Since bungie is with microsoft now, I'm sure they have adequate programmers to come up with this simple idea.
This FIX would alleviate most of the continuing saga of ww2 or regular myth being the best. I hope bungie/ms takes this seriously, as I have taken the time to post it.
